Turning Clean Power into Climate Impact
This 3D illustrations highlights Direct Air Capture systems in Utah and Wyoming, where wide-open landscapes and strong geological formations create ideal conditions for DAC systems. The cutaway shows the whole flow: clean power from sources like solar, wind, natural gas with CCS, nuclear, and fuel cells drives the DAC facility; the CO₂ is captured and then either sequestered in deep rock layers or used in mineralization, products, and agriculture. These states have both the s

From CAD to Motion: exploring a bionic leg
Here’s a behind the scenes look at a 360 spin of a bionic leg. It was created for Futek, Advanced Sensor Technology 🔧 Highlights: • CAD-based modeling for precise detail • Realistic materials and lighting A quick showcase of the hidden engineering behind prosthetics - perfect for technical marketing, product demos, or trade shows!

🐞 Wonder Materials from Insects
I created an illustration for PM Magazin titled “Wunderstoffe aus Insekten” — which translates to “Wonder Materials from Insects.” The artwork highlights how these tiny creatures can be surprisingly useful, contributing to medications, building materials, and food. I also put together a short video showing the creative journey: starting in 3ds Max, evolving into the fully rendered illustration, and finally transforming into the polished cover layout. It’s a fun way to see ho

💧 Turning Air into Water: Visualizing H2E
I created an animation for X Company ’s early-stage project H2E (“Hydration to Everyone”), which explored innovative ways to provide safe drinking water from the air . The animation uses a technical line drawing style to clearly communicate the concept. Colored airflows, blue for cold, red for hot, show how air moves through the device, helping to visualize how moisture is captured and condensed into drinking water. H2E wasn’t just a product, it was a full research initiative

Visualizing Deep’s underwater habitat in transit
I created a series of illustrations for Deep, this time showing how their underwater habitat is transported from onshore to its offshore location. The visuals depict the entire process, from preparation on land, to careful deployment into the ocean, highlighting both the engineering and the scale of the operation. 🌊 Complex operations like moving a massive underwater habitat are hard to imagine in words alone. Through these illustrations, stakeholders, partners, and the publ

If your product is 3D, why is your marketing still trapped in 2D?
If your sales team is still lugging around 50 page PDF manuals or showing flat 2D renders of your high-tech machinery, you’re losing the race to "Mental Ownership." In 2026, your customers don't want to read about your product. They want to experience it. We see it every day: ❌ The Problem: Complex products are hard to explain remotely. Sales cycles drag on because the "Aha!" moment takes too long to reach. ✅ The Solution: Interactive Web-3D. By integrating high-fidelity,

Visualizing Gravity Storage: from rock to renewable energy
I created a series of illustrations showing how Gravity Storage works underground. The visuals detail the complex process of using wire saw machines to cut enormous stone cylinders, some 50 to 250 meters deep, inside tunnels. Each cylinder is carefully freed through multiple precise cuts before being lifted upward by pressurized water. All rights reserved: Gravity Storage When the blocks sink back down, the outflowing water generates energy, storing and releasing massive amou

From Sketch to Stand: VP Med at BSIR VITALS
I recently created a 3D render for VP Med ’s exhibition stand at BSIR VITALS - the Vascular Innovation and Technology Advanced Learning Symposium. Using their initial concept sketch as a starting point, I developed a fully detailed 3D model of the stand. The render captured every display area, structural element, and interactive space, giving the team a clear blueprint for construction. It’s rewarding to see how a simple sketch transforms into a real, engaging presence on t

🌐 The Digital Backbone – Visualizing Germany’s Data Networks
For one of PM Magazin’s title stories, I created the illustration for “Das Rückgrat der Nation – Datennetze: Der Weg zur Digitalisierung”. The article explores how Germany’s data networks are evolving, and what needs to change for true digital progress. The artwork itself is not a cutaway this time, but a broad, stylized visualization of the country’s digital infrastructure: fiber-optic routes, network nodes, communication flows, and the invisible systems that keep modern soc

Big Wall, Big Impact: Visualizing Blown Film Technology
I created an illustration for Octagon, showcasing one of their blown film extruder machines. What makes this project really special is that the illustration wasn’t just digital, it was printed on a huge wall at Octagon’s booth at K 2025 in Düsseldorf, giving visitors an immersive view of the machine and how it works. Octagon has been at the forefront of the blown film industry since 1987, pushing innovation and precision in film gauging. My illustration helped explain the ma

Clean Energy, Clean Air
I recently wrapped up a cutaway 3D illustration for Rusheen Capital Management showing how clean energy in California can power Direct Air Capture (DAC) facilities. The artwork is a cutaway scene: renewable energy sources (solar, wind, nuclear, natural gas with CCS, fuel cells) feed into a DAC plant that pulls CO₂ straight from the air. From there, the captured carbon is either stored deep underground or used in mineralization, value-added products, or agricultural applicatio

Keeping Lakes and Ponds Healthy
I created a roadmap illustration for Moleaer, showing how their Nanobubble Generators help maintain healthy natural lakes and ponds. The visuals lay out the process step by step, from deployment to water treatment, highlighting how tiny nanobubbles can make a big difference. Moleaer’s technology is designed to maximize resources - using less water, energy, and chemicals, while improving efficiency and productivity. It’s inspiring to see how such a small innovation can have a

From Illustration to Real-World Impact: Visualizing the Arkite Platform
I created an infographic for Arkite’s Operator Guidance Platform, and seeing it in action on their website is always rewarding. The illustration helps explain how their platform integrates seamlessly into existing software ecosystems, connecting with MES, ERP, and external devices through a flexible API and multiple communication protocols. Being able to show complex tech in a clear, visual way makes the product instantly more understandable. And when clients actually use you

Tidal Power, made understandable through interactive 3D
I put together an interactive 3D model of a tidal power plant and recorded a real-time walkthrough to show how the system works below the surface. With the annotations turned on, you can follow each key part of the plant as you move through the scene -from the turbine housings to the intake channels and structural elements that anchor everything in place. Tidal power is brilliant, but let’s be honest: most people have only seen a diagram or a simplified illustration. Seeing t
