🐞 Wonder Materials from Insects

I created an illustration for PM Magazin titled “Wunderstoffe aus Insekten” — which translates to “Wonder Materials from Insects.” The artwork highlights how these tiny creatures can be surprisingly useful, contributing to medications, building materials, and food.

I also put together a short video showing the creative journey: starting in 3ds Max, evolving into the fully rendered illustration, and finally transforming into the polished cover layout. It’s a fun way to see how an idea develops from raw 3D data to a finished, publication-ready piece.

Bringing unexpected ideas like this to life is always exciting - turning curiosity about nature into something tangible and visually engaging.
