🛠️ Germany’s Backbone: What Needs to Happen Now
For the latest issue of PM Magazin, I created the cover illustration for the story „Das Rückgrat der Nation“ , an in-depth look at the state of Germany’s infrastructure and the steps needed to secure it for the future.
The article focuses on the essential systems that keep the country running:
• Power grid
• Streets and roadways
• Pipelines
• Rail lines
• Waterways for shipping
• Data networks
To bring it all together, I visualized these elements in a cutaway illustration showing both the above-ground infrastructure and the underground systems working quietly beneath our feet.
I also created a short video showing the artwork’s journey: starting in 3ds Max, transitioning into the fully rendered version, and finally blending into the finished PM Magazin cover. A smooth transformation from raw geometry to print-ready design.
